Utica Sertoma Ice Cream Festival

All crafters are to be in place from 9:00am to 7:00pm on the first day, 10:00am to 7:00pm on the second day, and 10:00am to 6:00pm on the third and final day. Setup day is the day before the first day of the festival from 7:00am to 7:00pm and the first day before 9:00am All exhibitors are expected to stay all three days. If you leave before the set time, you will not be asked back next year. You may have a space in a tent or outside in you own tent. The spaces in the tent are $70 for 8 feet deep and 10 feet in length. The spaces outside are $80 for a 12 by 12 space. Exhibitors must provide booth tables and equipment needed to display and demonstrate their art or craft. Electricity will be furnished at no charge to the crafters.

Exhibitors should have extension cords is electric is needed for their lights or tools. All tents are lighted. Each exhibitor is requested to limit the number of lights to four(4) individual lights per space, maximum 300W. No cars or campers will be permitted in the exhibit area except before and after show hours to load and unload. We have a parking lot on the premises for crafters and for their camper or trailer at no charge (Electric will not be provided for camping). Only authentic hand-crafted items are acceptable. No Commercial or import items Participants are to demonstrate their craft or art at various times during the festival. All proceeds from sales are yours Former participants: Please send entry to arrive no later than March 1st. New participants, please submit applications as soon as possible.

The Utica Sertoma, La Sertoma, and two Serteen clubs along with many others volunteer their time to put on this festival.

The festival is held one mile south of Utica and nine miles north of Newark, on state route 13, on the grounds of Energy Cooperative and Velvet Ice Cream Co. The weekend is fun filled and entertaining for the entire family. Over 90 artisans from Ohio and other states exhibit their handcrafted items. Pony rides, antique gas engines, a car show, motorcycle show and a magic show are just some of the many things to do and see. Lots of contests including ice cream eating, balloon toss, egg toss, (all weekend long) and kiddie tractor pulls on Sunday. We have a general store, ice cream tent, ham and bean tent, bratwurst stand, and other delisious foods along with stage entertainment. The highlight of the first day will be the parade in the village of Utica. Tour bus and handicapped parking is avalible. Shuttle service will be avalible from the parking lot to the festival entrance. Admission is $5 per car.
